K-Kids Faculty Sponsor gets special Award!

Last Thursday, we had a special guest visiting us. Brittany Bouzard, the K-Kid's Faculty sponsor at DeZavala Elementary School had lunch with our club, in appreciation for the wonderful job she has been doing with the K-Kids. She is a teacher with the first grade at De-Zavala and has been meeting with the K-Kids on a regular basis, lining up projects for the club to participate. Because of the wonderful work she has been doing and the wonderful enthusiasm she shows when she is working with the children, she was given a special award as 'Elementary Teacher of the Year', presented by the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District.

At our meeting last Thursday, Randy Cook, who is the children coordinator from our club presented Brittany with a Certificate of Appreciation from our club. and a bouquet of flowers to let her know how much our club appreciates all of the enthusiastic work she is doing with her K-Kids.
