Special Award Given ! At last week's meeting (Nov. 14), a very special award was given to Michael Mercado by Kiwanis member, Ted Breihan. Michael was awarded this special recognition for the wonderful, outstanding work that he has done while working at HEB Grocery and Texas State. He always was eager to help customers and always was friendly and ready to help with whatever needed to be done, such as cleaning up, parking lot baskets and greeting customers and did it with a very positive attitude. With him in the photo was one of HEB's manager, Esther Hernandez.
